Terms of Service
Last updated: [date]
1. Who we are
AML Safety (“we”, “us”) is operated by [Company legal name], registered in [country] under number [registration number]. These terms apply to the website amlsafety.com, the API and any paid plan (together, “the service”). By creating an account or using the API you agree to them.
2. What the service does
The service screens a TRON, Ethereum/EVM or Bitcoin address against the sources listed on our data sources section and returns a level, a score and the reasons. Every check is stored so you can look at it again later.
3. Results are a risk opinion
A result is a risk opinion based on the sources listed at the time of the check. It is not a guarantee, not legal advice and not a certification that an address is safe. A “Clear” result means only that the address was not found on any list we check.
You remain responsible for your own AML, sanctions and know-your-customer duties, and for every decision you make after a check.
4. Accounts
- You need an account to run checks. A free account includes 3 checks per day on the website.
- Keep your login and API keys secret. You are responsible for activity under your account and keys.
- Give us a working email or Telegram contact so we can reach you about your account.
5. Paid plans and payment
- Prices are shown on the pricing page. Check packs are paid once; business plans are billed monthly.
- We accept USDT (TRC-20) and Thai baht bank transfer. Card payments may be added later.
- Monthly plans have no minimum term and can be cancelled at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid month.
- Unused checks included in a monthly plan do not roll over. [Refund policy for check packs]
6. API use
API access is included in business plans. Respect the rate limits described in the API docs. We may suspend a key that is leaked, abused or used beyond its plan. You may use results inside your own product, but you may not resell raw results or our source data as a list or data feed.
7. Acceptable use
Do not use the service to:
- break the law, or help anyone avoid sanctions or law enforcement;
- test which addresses are or are not detected, in order to move funds undetected;
- scrape, copy or rebuild our blocklist or source data in bulk;
- attack, overload or try to get around the limits of the service.
8. Data sources
Most of our data comes from third parties, such as the U.S. Treasury (OFAC) and Tether. We do not control those sources, and they may be wrong, late or change without notice. We may add, change or remove sources at any time. Our own blocklist contains addresses we confirmed in fraud cases, each with a written reason. If you think an address is flagged by mistake, see the corrections section.
9. Liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or lost funds, or for losses caused by a result, a missed flag or a source being wrong or unavailable. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. [Confirm liability cap with a lawyer]
10. Suspension and ending
You can stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Check records are kept as described on the Legal page, even after an account is closed.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell paying customers by email or Telegram at least 14 days before it takes effect. Using the service after that means you accept the new terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction]. Disputes go to the courts of [city / country].
